The Chawleigh website has now been online since February 2006. The aims of the website are to provide information about Chawleigh, both to the local community and further afield. It is managed and edited completely voluntarily, and any funds that have been raised through fund raising or donations go solely towards the cost of hosting the site.
Whilst Chawleigh.org will not be displaying articles, letters or announcements (as these are already covered by the excellent “Chawleigh Dart” magazine - see the community page for contact details), the website does include the following pages of information:
Events: A calendar of events to be held in the village, including links the posters (where provided).
History: A fully referenced page dedicated to the history of Chawleigh.
Information: Details and links to information such as Buses, Recycling, etc.
Community: A directory of organisations within the village.
Directory: Brief description and contact details of businesses and other services based in the village.
Fund raising: A list of fund raising in the village (where provided).
Local Links: Details and links to organisations outside of Chawleigh, but in the local area.
However, to be able to promote your organisation, or event, we do need to know about it! If you would like to supply information about your organisation or event, please send details to the Web Editor
